My 2014 Audi Q7 is having starting problems. Six months ago it all of a sudden wouldn’t start. It didn’t turn over just clicked. I called AAA and it wouldn’t jump. I had it towed to the shop and by the time they got to look at it everything was back to normal. Then this week it wouldn’t start again. Unfortunately, the Audi brand is known for its fair share of issues. Not to mention, due to the high level of engineering in its design, it’s a pretty high-maintenance car. R0oster31. My 2011 Q7 wipers started by flashing a warning that my wipers were defective but would still function intermittently. Within 2 days they failed completely. I checked everything I could and it seemed to be the wiper motor. I replaced the motor and no longer get a warning but the wipers still do not function.
Here is my issue, a new unit is close to $2,000 + the labor and Audi coding it. The only rebuilt ones (which are few) are all over in Europe and are $400 - $500 + shipping (great deal really). The other option would be to buy a full used unit and hope for the best.
