Here’s what I did: Insert disc and let the game and patch install (game was 40gb and patch was 70gb). Wait until both are downloaded and then start the game. Once the game is running, it’ll ask you to download the high res textures, press okay and then you’ll be at the screen with all the downloads.

After connecting, quit Modern Warfare Remastered and switch back to Infinite Warfare. If you don't have Modern Warfare Remastered installed, or Step 1 didn't work: Clear the cache on your console . If Steps 1 and 2 don't work: Uninstall and reinstall Infinite Warfare and all DLC.

Well after trying like forever, what finally fixed it was , thru Microsoft store search the game and go to games addons, on top selections and install every pack addon there for Modern warfare , some won’t add as no longer available but the ones needed are there as well as enhanced visual’s addons , even though as a had all packs installed when going thru manage games n addons, installing

The way it works is that when you install a PS4 game on PS5, unless there's a PS5 patch released for a game, you will play the PS4 Pro version of said game. It'll just run slightly better. For instance, if the game has dynamic resolution it'll more often be at the max resolution, or higher framerate than the PS4 Pro.

^{It was really, really tricky, so the thing is that I have the cross gen Cold War, so when I try the modern warfare on disc it download fine the update, after you enter the game it ask you to install the mp, high res textures and all that (but on ps5 menu, not mw) so at first on mine was asking to install also the Cold War (that I already had so I think it was asking me to install the ps4}

Same issue on Series X using KB&M I can't swap to secondary weapon on my first loadout. All others 2-8 work fine. I have the new marksman rifle on my secondary. Created a new loadout with marksman first and then the M4 and spawn in with no gun then it will switch to M4 but not back to marksman. 1st loadout has M4 then marksman. Since the recent release of Modern Warfare 3, players have been ardently complaining about the MW3 Vault Edition not working.
