The most popular in pugs would be Druid, Heal Firebrand and Alacrity Renegade. It's up to you to decide what you want to play with. I sometimes pick condi Reaper, power Scrapper, power Spellbreaker power Renegade and it is fine. Meta is meta, most people won't care what you play if you pull decent numbers.
There are some traits that synergize together and change how you play. All the classes are fun, and you can explore the whole game as any class. I suggest picking a class, playing it till you are bored, and then switch to another. Try em out, eventually you'll find a character that you will fall in love with. 8. Weaver. The Weaver is the second elite specialization of the core Elementalist and has proven itself to be a powerful DPS class in the game. It gains the ability to utilize two elements at once and perform devastating Dual Attacks, combining them for powerful effects.
The damage you do is really about the gear that you wear and different traits you pick. The DPS in this game usually wear Berserker (strike) or Viper (conditions) gear. Nearly every profession can use both to great effect on at least 1 build. So, if I were to give a short breakdown of each, in no particular order.
Engineer. Engineer is the most well balanced class at the moment for PVE. With the introduction of Mechanist, Engineer is finally the most well balanced class for PVE in GW2 history in my opinion. We finally have a class that can spec into different roles like; power/condition damager, quickness/alacrity support, and healer. The highest APM classes in the game are Untamed (Ranger) followed by Weaver (Elementalist), but both of those are expansion builds so not F2P. As for the base game Elementalist and Engineer would probably have the most active gameplay. Most builds in gw2 have higher APM than wow and ff due to local instead of global skill cooldowns. Ranger - valkyrie core is ofc a thing but there are atleast 2 good tier builds - trapper core and power longbow core. Thief condi core and SD are both viable builds. Mesmer he has atleast 2 viable pvp builds for core. Warrior- core axe is pretty ok and rather simple to play.
Ranger = female Asura. Thief = female Asura. Engineer = female Asura. Necromancer = female Asura. Elementalist = female Asura. Mesmer = female Asura. Time_splitter. • 2 yr. ago. Best answer except that asura has no good looking medium armor sets : (.
Professions. Convince me that there is better class then necromancer! Hello fellow GW2 community. I have huge love for necromancer. Any rpg game i ever played I always choose necromancer. Diablo 2 and 3, eso and many more. I have few boost tokens sitting in my account and I can not seem to decide what class to boost. Vindicator is the new one but Herald and Renegade are both really good in solo content. Herald plays like a tank and Renegade focuses on putting a large amount of dots on everything. renegade is probably right now the "best" one for PvE. vindicator is in my opinion the most fun. herald is very strong in PVP. Its wvw and pvp builds mainly dragonhunter felt very natural and both condi firebrand and power dragon hunter were really fun dps classes. Guardian also brings a metric fuck ton of utility even in irs core kit allowing it to be a great supporter accross all content. Willbender is kinda meh outside of pvp imo. And mesmer. Currently my top two are equally human and charr. I've got a human male guardian and a human male thief, who I've had since I've first started playing. Then followed by my charr male revenant and my charr female warrior who I've made a year or so later. They're all my favourite characters right now. Next is sylvari. Rifle and double Piercing trait Pistol or Dagger Pistol Deadeye (to do heart seeker over the rifle sniper cover). You just spam skill 3, and stealth. Easiest rotation and does massive power damage from far. If you want condition can go Single Pistol deadeye with skill 3 does insane damage and can spam the skill forever. Hammer Revs (and especially vindicator with Spear of Archemorus and the AoE blast) are good for chokes like hallways and stuff. On the same note Longbow berserker is a fun mini dragon banner. DH and Guard is good when the enemy pushes on you and you drop all your stuff and leave. Consistently I'd give it to Scourge, with or without staff. 39JTk.
