If you're buying a battery for this Ford focus, expect to change the battery yourself because the highstreet shops are unlikely to do this for you for a fee.
That's going to be tough being the engine does not turn over [chair] lol. Just a shot in the dark here. Open the hood and in the fuse box you should see 3 black looking fuses. Pull each out and put them back in. IIRC they are actually circuit breakers and one of them being for the ignition and ECU. Turn On the car (do not start it, just turn key on) shift gear to N then turn off the car and wait for 15 seconds. Shift gear to P turn on the car (do not start just turn key on) wait for 15 seconds then turn off key and turn on again, shift gear to N the car will give you message Transmission Ready. Honestly haven't look yet, just going for a pre-emptive strike. Don't think its a boost leak as it hasn't been smokey and plenty of power on boost. When driving it struggles to rev to or over 2500rpm, revving freely it bounces between 2800 & 3000, like a slow limiter bounce and is puffing out blue smoke, no smoke though when driving.

Hanes manuals are quite expensive now, but they can pay for themselves in the long run, sometimes you get conficting advice on forums, Fordpidia etc, the Haynes manual is often based on the original Ford workshop manual, so can be trusted to have the correct information at least 99.9% of the time (wont have info on blanking EGRs though, i dont Wont Start -- 2009 1.6 zetec tdci Wont Start -- 2009 1.6 zetec tdci. Hi there if the keyless overide is unsuccessful it’s most commonly a faulty low voltage battery concern. If the steering lock is on you cannot unlock the steering until the keykess module unlocks it
